Terms of Service

Welcome to Real-Lenses ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website at real-lenses.com, our mobile applications, our forensic analysis tools, our social platform ("My Place"), our marketplace, and our API (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Forensic Analysis Services

Real-Lenses provides AI-assisted forensic analysis of media files (images, video, audio) to detect manipulation, editing, and AI-generated content. You acknowledge that:

• Our analyses are produced by AI models and are probabilistic, not definitive.
• Verdicts (real, edited, AI-generated) represent the model's assessment and are not guaranteed to be accurate in all cases.
• Forensic reports are for informational purposes and do not constitute legal advice.
• Court-admissible packages include chain-of-custody documentation, but admissibility is ultimately determined by the presiding court.
• You are solely responsible for how you use or act upon our analysis results.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal or by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless canceled before the trial expires.

5. Marketplace

Our marketplace allows users to list and purchase digital products, services, and leads. For marketplace transactions:

• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.
• Buyers purchase directly from sellers; Real-Lenses facilitates the transaction and collects a platform fee.
• Stripe Connect may route payments directly to sellers' connected accounts.
• Real-Lenses is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and is not liable for the quality, legality, or delivery of marketplace items.
• Disputes should be resolved directly between buyer and seller. We may mediate but are not obligated to do so.

6. My Place Social Platform

My Place allows users to post content, interact with others, and access community features. You are solely responsible for your content and interactions. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. API Access

API subscribers are subject to rate limits and usage quotas as described in their plan. API keys must be kept secure and are your responsibility. We may revoke API access for abuse, excessive usage, or violation of these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Services for any illegal purpose; (b) upload media you do not have the right to analyze; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent our systems; (d) abuse, overload, or disrupt the Services; (e) use automated systems to access the Services beyond your plan limits; (f) resell or sublicense access without authorization; or (g) misrepresent our analysis results.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, design, content, and trademarks, are owned by Real-Lenses and protected by intellectual property laws. Forensic reports generated for you are yours to use, but the underlying analysis methods and models remain our proprietary technology.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT FORENSIC VERDICTS ARE CORRECT.

11. Limitation of Liability & Creator Responsibility

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REAL-LENSES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

Creator Not Liable for User Conduct. Real-Lenses is a platform created and maintained by its developer. The creator of the platform is not liable or responsible for how any user uses, misuses, or abuses the Services. Each user holds sole and individual liability for their own actions, content, transactions, and conduct on the platform. The creator does not carry the burden of how users choose to use the platform, and is not responsible for the consequences of any user's decisions, behavior, or misuse.

Users Bear Their Own Liability. You acknowledge and agree that you alone — not the platform, its creator, or its operators — are responsible for your use of the Services. This includes any legal, financial, or reputable consequences arising from your activity, your content, your marketplace transactions, your interactions with other users, and your reliance on forensic analysis results. The platform is provided as a tool; how you use that tool is entirely your responsibility.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Real-Lenses from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, limitations, indemnification) remain in effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over our principal place of business.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
